About Karen

Karen Hally.jpgHi I’m Karen Hally and I want to thank you for your interest in my cooking classes.  Cooking and teaching is my passion and has been for over 30 years.  I have always wanted to share my love of food and spend time with foodies talking food – what better way than with cooking classes in Auckland, the multicultural city of cuisine!

Currently I am a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) and the New Zealand Guild of Food Writers to help me stay in touch and keep my skills up to date with the professional culinary world. My training includes Home Economics (NZ), Cordon Bleu (London), and I am a Certified Culinary Professional (IACP US)

The best thing about owning and running my cooking school is all the people I get to meet – whether you are an obsessed foodie, on a team building exercise, or needing new easy recipes for entertaining family and friends, we all have fun and learn more about ingredients, cooking, wine and food presentation.
